Palliative care professionals often speak of the importance forming meaningful relationships with patients and their families. Trust rapport, usually established over extended periods time through face-to-face interactions, a ‘gentle honesty’ regarding end-of-life death are key aspects developing sense intimacy people who approaching end lives.
